654492 2008-04-01 03:20:00 I wonder what the best prank ever was. I heard the war of the worlds was actually a big hoax when that first came out... rob_on_guitar (4196)
654493 2008-04-01 04:25:00 the best hoax hasn't been uncovered yet Whenu (9358)
654494 2008-04-01 04:31:00 Dad just had a prank pulled on him - the fake BSOD one. He wondered what was going on, even though the BSOD was one from Windows 98. pcuser42 (130)
654495 2008-04-01 05:20:00 YouTube UK and AU were apparently force-rickrolling every video (www.techcrunch.com). Very funny, just before this internet meme got too old.

A running list of online April Fools is over here (aprilfoolsdayontheweb.com), Wikipedia has a decent article on April 1, 2008 (en.wikipedia.org) too (wonder if they're doing anything).

654496 2008-04-01 05:26:00 The Rock (New Zealand) were forced to issue an apology after their promotions team advertised a free Foo Fighters concert in Auckland for April 1 2008 (an April Fools day joke). ooer rob_on_guitar (4196)

Yea that one was way better, and more believable imo.

And the Rock prank that never happened was funny, the phone call with the boss was even funnier!

"Am I on air?"
"....Yes"
*hangs up*
