653854 2008-03-29 07:27:00 I want to keep them out.
I trap them then release them in the bush 200m. away with no cab fare.

Sigh.

Put heaps of mouse food in the bush then. Hopefully next to your nearest neighbour. But with the price of cheese going up I find it easier to feed my two cats.

One mouse and two mice.
One house and should that be two hice?

I hate those meeses to pieces!

Mice? You let them go? Well, no wonder you are having issues with them. Kill them. They are vermin.

If our fur kid can find his way home from over a km away those meeces will have no trouble returning to their preferred residence from a mere 200m.

Harden up and kill them or release them even further from the house. They obviously know when they are onto a good thing. ;)

653857 2008-03-29 23:06:00 I knew I should have added "I don't want a bloody cat".

The damned animals should never have been brought into NZ.

Martynz

Should't you be saying that about the mice?

They're not native & serve no useful purpose.
Cats are at least cuddly...

653858 2008-03-29 23:11:00 Get a cat.

It will also help control the native bird population.

653860 2008-03-29 23:16:00 Well mice do have a purpose; when I was involved in the chemical industry several years back. Thousands of chemicals were used on mice to determine the lethal dose (LD 50% of mice population) to gauge the toxicity of chemicals - which are required for chemical specifications in their material safety data sheets... kahawai chaser (3545)

653862 2008-03-29 23:48:00 If there were no mice here, you could've used rats.

Lots of us would be happy about that.

(I mean the brown ones, not white)

Edit: I wrote that before "pies' came up...

653863 2008-03-30 01:34:00 Study the mice. Become one with the mice. Wear them like clothes, only then you will truely become at peace with the mice. Now grasshopper, go forth on your mission... rob_on_guitar (4196)
