796332 2009-07-31 02:03:00 The memory tester you mention - I know the one - never used it though.

Wont hurt to use it to see if it finds any faults.

796333 2009-07-31 03:10:00 The memtest application that comes with Windows is not as accurate as memtest86 IMO.

It also takes longer to detect errors.

796334 2009-07-31 05:17:00 OK then I'll run memtest tonight. Here's another BSOD I got this morning: MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS sammo450 (13626)
796335 2009-07-31 05:25:00 OK then I'll run memtest tonight. Here's another BSOD I got this morning: MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS

Looks like that may mean the driver is old/out of date. Falstaff.sys can also cause that stop error (Stop: 0x00000044 ). Is Intel Application Accelerator installed on this system? Dont think it is (if its the mobo in your sig).

796336 2009-07-31 05:29:00 It could be. I got an old modem the other day, and installed the Intel drivers, now every time I boot, it says SM56 modem cannot be found, and I don't know how to get rid of it. Maybe that's what it screwing my system up. Where could it be hidden? sammo450 (13626)
796337 2009-07-31 05:33:00 Uninstall the driver for it in device manager, then turn it off remove the modem. Did this MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS stop error come up in XP or Win7? Speedy Gonzales (78)
796338 2009-07-31 13:14:00 Windows 7. Not using XP any more. Here's a bugcheck: 0x00000044 (0x807c3120, 0x00000eae, 0x00000000, 0x00000000. What do they actually mean? sammo450 (13626)
796339 2009-07-31 16:12:00 Well it means what I posted. Its probably some drivers windows 7 doesnt like. What version did you install?? 32 or 64 bit? Did you uninstall the modem drivers then remove it? Speedy Gonzales (78)
796340 2009-08-01 13:02:00 OK uninstalled the Intel stuff, all fixed now. Thanks for help guys. sammo450 (13626)
796341 2009-08-01 13:07:00 Umm if youre using the mobo in your sig, why did you install the Intel application accelerator anyway?? You shouldn't need it on an AMD system Speedy Gonzales (78)
