796048 2009-07-29 08:09:00 Have you tried using a USB cable instead of the LPT1.

Had a printer customers a few years back doing similar - every thing looked fine, it was attached Via LPT1 - checked all the port setting, reinstalled the software a couple of times.

Would print test pages but nothing in office (it was Office 2003) attached the printer Via USB - and bingo - away it went.

Edited: that was an Epson as well, but I cant remember the model.

796051 2009-07-30 06:07:00 Tried that Revo uninstaller and it worked ok after I had renamed the entries in the Registry to do with the error I was having.
None of the things made a diff, tried a USB cable, nothing.
Decided to borrow a Printer off a colleague, tried another test page and noted it wasnt printing in black can you believe it, cartridge showing as 1/2 full, replaced with a new one, printed test page ok.
Then printed Word stuff.
Got back to Office later and found a message to say it wasnt working again...
Willl do the borrow Printer thing on Monday as booked up all day tomorrow.
Maybe something in Windows, who would know.
