796944 2009-07-31 14:50:00 Am I losing the plot?

Main Cover Item story about HDTV's and Blu-ray players..

I thought it was getting bad enough when they started reviewing cellphones!

Can we have item's about computers please..?

796945 2009-07-31 22:17:00 X2 I don't think I'm renewing my subscription this year once it runs out gary67 (56)
796946 2009-08-01 01:25:00 Even though its called PCworld its more of a "Technology" based mag rather than computer based. Blam (54)
796947 2009-08-01 01:38:00 Me too. I am NOT renewing my subscription either for that reason. More information on Computers and Software programs is what i am looking for. Ken Gracia kountryken (14110)
796948 2009-08-01 01:40:00 I think there's only so much original content on computers you can rite about these days. I'm quite happy to see a branch into other technology areas especially as they killed of FFWD paulw (1826)
796949 2009-08-01 01:53:00 I stopped buying it last year when it was all cameras. And what computer news they had was copied from the USA edition of PCW of three months previous JJJJJ (528)
796950 2009-08-01 02:04:00 Computers! maybe so paulw but there is certainly a lot of software updates and new software programs are being invented all the time. I have told quite a few of my elderly new computer purchaser's about types of software they can buy for their PC's and they can do this and that with it. They can't believe what is out there. kountryken (14110)
796951 2009-08-01 02:19:00 Personally I don't mind the HDTV articles (I find them interesting :)), however I do think the magazine has decreased in quality somewhat over the past 12 months :(. Hopefully the team can fix it and get it back up to the excellent standard it used to be . davidmmac (4619)
796952 2009-08-01 05:51:00 I used to get PCW and PCAuthority but cancelled PCW over a year ago for the reasons mentioned above. PCAuthority isn't bad but it would be better for Aussies. linw (53)
796953 2009-08-01 08:10:00 I'm still subscibing, and reasonably happy to. Could do with less of the smart/cell phone/TV stuff though, and more reviews/tests on PC bits and pieces.
I must admit with all the non-computer stuff in it, it's not taking very long to read.
