2008-04-11 06:45:00 | Come to think about it, I don't think I can organise and attend two meetups. At most I can just chuck in a date and a time, but for one the meetups you would have to sort out who's going to be the watch-out person for others to spot on. I will just stick with at the end of June or early July. R2x1: Perhaps you can quote a date and place convenient for Laura? Cheers :) Time for an apology to Jamuz, methinks. His original thread has been hijacked and I feel responsible for the current changes because of my travels. I quite understand why you don't want to be stuck with organising two meet-ups, Jamuz. And I'm sure you'll have other takers (or maybe repeats from the same?) for your proper "winter" version. So we, the " early mob," need to sort ourselves out ourselves. So far, the other likely lads & ladettes look like R2x1 & pcuserwinxp - with interest expressed by kiwipork, Chilling Silence, bob_doe_nz & beeswax34. Sorry if I overlooked anyone. Any more takers for 10th May? Edit: Just realised we haven't mentioned Mods. Hey there, Jen... And Jan...

(Little does he know that I am merely making an effort now because I plan to leave it all in his fair hands once I leave town on Tuesday) |

2008-04-11 07:47:00 | Hey Laura. I don't mind having two meetups - I am perfectly fine with that. But just that I can't be there for both meetups - hence I am capable of organising only one. I would imagine that naming a place and time should be a relatively easy task. This thread originally was created to see if members still express interest in a meetup. If yes (which is the case), then I will quote a date and time closer to the event. Cheers :)

2008-04-13 07:10:00 | Well, is there any approval / disapproval for an informal meeting at around 11.30 am in the foyer at Britomart on Sat, 10th of May, thence to a dining and/or supping establishment ? It is not proposed that it be far from Britomart, nor should it be expensive. Bungy jumping should not be an option either. | R2x1 (4628) | |
2008-04-13 08:04:00 | Yes, I approve. Only a cataclysmic event (see Act of God) will prevent me from negotiating myself from the wilds of Avondale to Britomart at the aforementioned time.
