| 655920 | 2008-04-04 06:16:00 | Friends in my opionion game consoles like PS3 and Xbox 360 is becoming more like pc's which is getting annoying because some newbies say that PS3 is better than pc but i totally disagree . Just because they think PS3 has a 8 core processor means that it can kick any the high end pc's . But they are wrong as Intel has a 80 core test sample cpu of very fast calculations ages ago . An PS3 has a IBM 8 core cpu that uses 90 NM process . But current processors are way efficient than that, 32 nano meters are nearly out next year or so . Seven wireless controllers capable, so what if i want controllers i can get so many expansion cards for a fraction of the price . Plus wireless is bad for your health . A rsx videocard, so what it was a nvidia geforce 7800gt videocard that is 2 generations old which can't even do Hyper dynamic range lightning and Anti-Aliasing at the same time . A blue ray drive, a good thing to have but there are cheap ones available . High Definition, bulk to higher resolutions and cut special image quality enhancements such as anti-aliasing what a waste . You can play new games on it such as GTA 4, who cares if its that good then it will be ported to desktop computers real soon . You can run Folding@home, so what its a waste of electricity which is bad for the environment . Its backwards capable with previous playstation games, so what my pc can emulate the games fine . It can play resistance fall of man, so what i have better advantages of using a mouse and keyboard on a pc to easily headshot you in a lan battle . It has a big hard drive, my god pc harddrives reached 1 Terrabyte ages ago . So i think that some people really need to learn the facts a game console will never out pace a high end desktop computer . |
