655736 2008-04-03 02:58:00 I have reason to catch a bus to Manukau tomorrow. So I did a search for routes and fares etc using the excellent Maxx (http://www.maxx.co.nz)website. It came up with some great options for which bus and where to get on and off. But it also came up with one brilliant option.... to WALK the 9.6km journey in 2 hrs 24 mins! (it was also the cheapest option!) Greg (193)
655737 2008-04-03 03:01:00 Grab the 374 from Pakuranga to Hunters Corner. From there you can grab the 471/472 to Manukau.

Or the 568 Bus (howick n eastern)

How's it going Greg. You're not looking for work are you?

How's it going Greg. You're not looking for work are you?Nah. My ex missus has temporarily moved out so I don't have use of the car and I have to get to the Family court in Manukau to file some documents.

Yep Bob - the 568 is one I'll be using.

655740 2008-04-03 03:41:00 Ahh, bummer, or joyjoy, you choose.

I have a mate going through the throes at the mo, it's literally costing him millions, just as well he's very happy with his new gal. I trust yours is fair and equitable.

On the other matter - Surely walking purely on time cost, unless you were taking the whole day of anyway, would be more expensive. Which is what, in my poor way, I was alluding to initially.

655741 2008-04-03 03:53:00 I haven't got a new woman, sadly. As for the cost of time off work, no problem cos I work for myself from home. Greg (193)
655742 2008-04-03 05:16:00 It always gives you the walk option, no matter what router or what time.

But hey, they're thinking about your finances! That can only be a good thing :D

Temp???

Yep Bob - the 568 is one I'll be using.

When? I might just walk out and watch the bus go past then.

No matter what people may tell you Women are different to Men.

Whilst travelling on the bus do not forget to stand up for a woman and offer her your seat on the bus. Especially if your temp happens to be on the same bus.

You may get a simple thank you or you may get "I am quite capable of standing up." as I did once.

Try not to be in too much of a hurry to get the next partner. It may pay in the long run.
