| 655587 | 2008-04-02 21:28:00 | I have a stepdaughter (10yr old) who has a school camp next week and they are expected to take a wetsuit with them, unfortunatly I pretty much forgot about it till the last couple of days, anyone know if it is cheaper to purchase or to buy a wetsuit for a week, as it is probably the only time she will use it I have looked at Trademe but thats a wste of time as by the time the money has cleared and the item has been posted it will be way the heck too late The other thing is where do you hire a wetsuit from? |

| 655589 | 2008-04-02 23:14:00 | Ewwww... Rented wetsuits all come with ...uh....er...personal DNA and organic material from the previous owner/user. (:blush: Pass it on! :stare: ) One of the first things a diver or surfer does is urinate..I know..not nice...INTO the suit to start the heat conservation with a good dose of bio-thermal liquid. . I know of what I'm speaking here...hence my moniker: SurferJoe. (The year is not important here for this point). We'd hit the cold morning water to go surfing and pee in our suits to get something wet and 98.6F going right away. After all...it was our OWN pee that started the day with a nice heat wave..and NOT someone else's! :yuck: |
