Celebrated by going out on a long motorcycle ride - leaving Masterton in the rain, getting over the wet Rimatukas safely, nice Indian meal in sunny Lower Hutt, a great group ride with the KiwiBiker gang of 22 bikes over the Haywards and around the inlet, back to a BBQ in Taita with a police escort, back over the 'tukas and my new gear kept me warm with it being 10 degrees when I got back home after 9 pm. No cake or champagne though, was kind buggered so got some early sleep. And no new tech toys other than a few LED hand-powered torches from the $2 shop yesterday. :lol: BTW, we were all surprised about the police escort as all 20+ bikes came into the Taita Bowling Club carpark. Turned out they were investigating an abandoned car and they were more surprised than us, being followed by a gang of KiwiBikers! |
