| 797079 | 2009-08-01 06:51:00 | Hi All, I have been attempting to set up a 3COM 3C16271 Linkbuilder FMS TP 12-port RJ45 Hub, however, I don't have any manuals and have been unsuccessful at finding any on the web. Could someone direct me to either a downloadable manual or online instructions on setting up the hub. Thanks in advance. Les |

| 797084 | 2009-08-05 03:47:00 | Hi Agent 24, The back panel is differant, the unit I have has what appears to be an extra serial connection (could be an AUI port) with the power plug nort/south rather than east/west. It also does not have a socket for redundent power system. The plugs for what I presume are expansion ports are top/bottom not side by side, they are differant types of plugs where the picture in the document shows then as being both serial type plugs (one on the unit I hase two rows of very small pins). The front panel is also differant in the factt that it does not have a boldge on the left hand side. The Plugs are in the centre with the staus lights off to the right. I will have a go at just plugging it in. Thanks |
