657007 2008-04-08 07:26:00 I know you are a new member, and obviously very excited to find you can add polls, but could you please take the time to think whether it is really necessary to make a poll on whatever topic pops into your head.

Thanks.

657010 2008-04-08 08:15:00 Pretty soon a five-lettered-name member will start abusing the 10-lettered-name member, which will result in the (four-lettered word)-ing of the thread.

Fill the puzzle as we go through the story! :D

I have gone on record to suggest that polls on PressF1 do not elicit useful information that I could use in my day to day life.

This is because I have found polls on PressF1 are only answered by a very small minority of our 14,000 + members.

We even had a poll to ask whether we should have more polls or ban polls at one time.

Of the 14,000 members how many are active and regular? Hardly representative of the whole population anyway.

Even Kolmar-Brunton polls have a margin of error of some percent.

It may be time to revisit polls in general.

When faced with choices there is always the yes/no/maybe option.

Probably since half of the usernames are generated by spambots.

You make it all sound so serious. Are these (so called) polls really meant to be serious? If past polls - and the responses - are anything to go by, solemnity was not a consideration when many of the polls were first thought of.

Why does it matter, anyway? Surely any poll on F1 is only meant as lighthearted fun.:D

And as to the size of your arse, who cares? I don't. And I don't care if my answer is representative of any population. What does it matter? Just call an arse an arse and have a bit of fun with it.

So let's not revisit polls in general. Let's keep a bit of levity in F1 and have a poll on anything that anyone finds vaguely interesting. You don't have to be a respondent if you think the poll stupid. A response is not compulsory, is it?

Lighten up!:D

657015 2008-04-08 11:22:00 What the effect of jeans is on the perceived size of your ass is a bit of a mystery.
I could offer an opinion on what your typing does to the perceived level of your I.Q. - but I won't.
