Family Packs will become available at Windows 7's official launch on Oct. 22 and will be available only until supplies last, Microsoft said. Why? Probably to create a sense of scarcity, in order to stoke demand and excitement, as its recently concluded limited time offer of discounted Windows 7 pre-orders did. That doesn't sound exactly promising. |

| 798137 | 2009-08-05 03:18:00 | im quite keen for a family pack - as our house now has 3 computers that are all recently built and can easily handle vista\windows 7 so there are no worries there now to convince the other 2 people to cough up part of the cash and somehow stop them freaking out cause they cant handle the change from XP to 7 :o |
