797777 2009-08-03 22:59:00 Why, after I delete (from Internet Options) all Temporary Internet Files, Browsing History and Cookies, do I still find a number of files listed when I “View Files” ? Is there another way of cleaning up the system (and maybe speed it up) other than Disc Cleanup? kapkol (15132)

797781 2009-08-03 23:17:00 Cleaning your temp files and history won't speed it up.

But it does keep things tidy.

+1 for CCleaner.

797782 2009-08-03 23:24:00 Gee - that cleaned ‘em out! Thanks! Have to study CC to see what all the other options can do – don’t even recognize what all that stuff is! (being a greenie!!) kapkol (15132)
797783 2009-08-04 03:10:00 The only reg cleaner I trust is Glary Utilities. I have used it on my computer and others for years and never had anything damaged. zataka (14895)
