797659 2009-08-03 11:43:00 Why is it so hard to get drivers these days? I am after a BROADCOM NETXTREM BCM5782 GIGABIT driver but just get referred to pages that want me to download Driver Detective. Well I don't want the detective, I want the driver. Anyone help? bpt2 (6653)
797660 2009-08-03 11:53:00 It is hard because the web sites that may help you have gone or they Company has gone. Also Driver Detective have sorted their site so that it makes it more difficult.

It is also hard because when I supply a computer I supply all relevant software including drivers.

A problem pops up and I ask, Where are the CDs?"
"I lent them, they are lost, I don't know and etc."

797661 2009-08-03 13:29:00 Have you looked on the broadcom site? Its better to go to the manufacturer's site first, than trying to guess

Its probably one of these (www.broadcom.com)
