797606 2009-08-03 08:56:00 Is there any way that I can remotely view the temperatures of my pc?
Got my desktop running games and laptop sitting next to it for internet access and messaging, and want to see what the temps of my new pc get to while running games

797607 2009-08-03 09:01:00 Not much point if theyre next to each other. If it doesnt crash / or shut down, then there's nothing to worry about. Or buy some kind of 3.5 / 5.25 bay fan controller with sensor/s, so you can see what the temps for the fans / cpu are Speedy Gonzales (78)

797610 2009-08-03 09:46:00 Download and install HWMonitor (www.cpuid.com)

Run and minimise it before you start your game. It will record current min and max temps, fan speeds, voltages etc, while you're playing.

After you've finished your game - restore the hwmon window. The max temps will have been recorded (including core temps, hard-drives, GPU etc)

Well yeah then you wont need a program, it'll tell you on a display. And how exactly do you think you'll see it with a program, if youre playing games
