I have plugged in and it seems to be dead!

797510 2009-08-02 22:10:00 It's what it says it is - a USB wireless dongle.

It allows a PC with this device plugged into it to connect to an in-range wireless network.

Did you check in the device manager to see if it appears when it's plugged in?

It doesn't register in my computer at all!

Shows up as an unknown device without drivers installed, which of course couldn't be reinstalled from my computer.

797518 2009-08-03 00:15:00 There SHOULD be a fcc ID on it (well there is on the ones Ive got here).

Look for it in google. Plug it in, go to device manager look for the entry. Double click on it, click on details tab. Change it to hardware ids. Copy and paste one of these into google or what it says in here.
