Dell has one slated for the latter half of this year. Mind you, some of them aren't even available in the USA so you could be waiting for some time here in NZ. Here's on featured today by PC World: blogs.pcworld.co.nz |

| 657458 | 2008-04-11 22:21:00 | Still cant really compete with the EeePC.. for that kind of price / battery life you're better off getting one of those cheap full-featured Acer laptops from DSE and upgrading the memory on them.. It'd still come out cheaper! Battery life is still a little under 2 hours on the Acer laptops compared with 2.5hrs on those, but you also get a DVD Writer and a larger screen! :D Plus, stick with the stock standard battery on the EeePC and get a good 3.5 hours. They reckon with a 6-cell EeePC battery you can get around 6.5 -> 7... 7 vs 4.5? If you're going to buy an upgraded battery for your device, which would you prefer? The EeePC is small, light, long battery life, low-cost, and surprisingly enough for a CPU thats factory underclocked at 630MHz, its FAST! Its a nice try by HP, but thats all it is, a late attempt to enter the market... |

I can't understand for the life of me why can't all move to that wonderfully complicated system. It loads so quickly, thats nice. |
