656988 2008-04-08 05:09:00 Itunes if this is installed, lets you transfer podcasts

I think there are programs that can play podcasts, you dont have to use an Ipod to listen to it / watch it

656989 2008-04-08 05:11:00 hey Ice,

most podcast also support a manual download, which will work just like any audio file on your computer.

So, yes, you can use your shuffle to listen to podcasts.

As for what podcast to listen to, what are your interests?

Here is some info on podcasts
www.apple.com

other than that just type podcast into google and see what comes up. It also helps if you have a prefered topic like gardening, finance, classical music, literature, art history, pop music or what ever that you want to listen to or subscribe to ( usually free) then you can google "gardening podcasts" or something.

You can use your iPod shuffle for audio podcasts - you would need the iPod nano or Touch for visual or Quicktime podcasts.

656991 2008-04-08 05:54:00 Just because they have 'pod' in their name does not mean they are in any way related to iPod. They are just MP3 files - any audio application can play them. johcar (6283)
