| 658553 | 2008-04-14 01:12:00 | Hi I'm looking to host a photo album on my server. There is a few free php photo album on the net, but not sure which one is good, ease of use? easy to manage? nice presentation ...etc. I would like to have the following features. Thumbnails generated automatically. Photo will rotate automatically. Able to set different passwords for different folders/albums. Thanks in advance. :thanks |

| 658554 | 2008-04-14 01:27:00 | I would recommend Gallery (http://gallery.menalto.com/) it will do everything you want to do plus more. Although I would stick to "Gallery 1" (I prefer it over to Gallery 2 due to its looks and speed wise, plus with Gallery 1 you dont need a database to run it, which you need with Gallery 2), You can download "Gallery 1"here: codex.gallery2.org (from the bottom right hand side of that page) Hope this helps :) |

Although I would stick to "Gallery 1" (I prefer it over to Gallery 2 due to its looks and speed wise, plus with Gallery 1 you don’t need a database to run it, which you need with Gallery 2), You can download "Gallery 1"here: codex.gallery2.org (from the bottom right hand side of that page) Hope this helps :) The problem with that one is that it requires PHP safe_mode to be turned off, and some hosts don't support this, or will make the alteration throughout the entire hosting account, which will affect any other scripts that require it to be off. |

For example my host gives you. 4Images Gallery Coppermine Photo Gallery Gallery |
