Young male drunks tend to do stupid things and thinks its funny. For that matter, so do young drunk females. Why do you hope its not a fad? It wouldn't last long before these types are removed from the gene pool which would be a good thing for the human races overall level of smartness. |

| 658265 | 2008-04-14 00:09:00 | It amazes me that adults(?) can be so stupid but I do remember about 60 years ago I lived in a "slow" road and a youngster in our district who was about four, had a habit of running out in front of vehicles - arms outstretched and causing them to stop very quickly. He never got hit, but one day he did it to a high built garbage truck which because of its height practically stood on its front wheels to stop. The driver got out chased the kid and delivered the best backside tanning I have ever seen. Then he took the kid home. I saw all this from our house - but I never saw the kid try this again EVER! Probably saved his life, but today the poor driver would be unable to do a thing about it. As we have seen in Christchurch recently - a father in trouble because he tweaked his sons ears for riding his bike too near the traffic after being warned not to. Sad. Tom |
