798951 2009-08-06 22:43:00 Just got a chance to 'play' with a mac (never before). Noticed that Safari (Internet Browser) is not in the Dock. Got to dig far just to open the brower.

How do I add this Safari icon in the Dock so that I can launch it easily every time I turn on the macbook?

MacBook looks like an expensive toy to me.lol

798952 2009-08-06 23:02:00 Google is your friend. ;) Which Macbook do you have? One of the broken (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) ones, or one of the Aluminum ones?

1. Click and drag the icon out of the Finder/Applications window and onto the Dock.

798953 2009-08-06 23:47:00 Or -When you open Safari click and hold down on the Safari icon in the dock and select Keep in Dock
It will always show in the dock after you do that.
