798921 2009-08-06 22:23:00 Hi Team

Slowly recovering from the crash of 09 and keep finding things I need to do!

Can anybody tell me which PCW CD or DVD has SP4 on it please? I have just about every disk going back to when they first started, but I need to install SP4 to get some programs working. Googling wasn't any help (not to me anyway). I have installed SP 2 & 3, which I am hoping took care of SP1 because I don't know which disk that is either.

Cheers

798923 2009-08-06 22:49:00 You didn't need to install SP2 & SP3 as well. SP4 includes all the patches that were in the previous SPs. CYaBro (73)
798924 2009-08-07 05:06:00 Thanks for that, I have downloaded SP4 express install which is only 588kb plus the roll-up package which is 31.2MB and I'm a bit wary of a roll-up that is 60x larger than the original SP.

That's why I was looking for the PCW version because I thought SP4 and its updates were on a PCW CD, in fact I'm fairly certain they were, and I seem to remember using that in the past to update all our pcs.

I'd still like to find it if anybody remembers when it was produced.

Cheers

798925 2009-08-07 05:11:00 I have the full SP4 install here on the server, is is 132MB.

No NT SP ever has been 588kb, that may be an online installer launcher?

798926 2009-08-07 05:55:00 The roll-up package will be SP4 without any of the other SP3 patches included.
If you have already installed SP3 then the roll-up package should be all you need to go to SP4.

Thanks, I'll run the roll-up.
