661314 2008-04-22 08:26:00 Went to DSE as instructed,to buy my Eneeloops, only to be told that they are discontinuing that line, due to lack of demand.
Was also told best use Eneloop charger with Eneloop batteries.

Do we have any views on this matter?

661315 2008-04-22 08:33:00 wow, I wonder if they have a good replacement for them if they are being discontinued :\ I've no need for a rechargeable battery at the moment, but if I did I know these would be the ones I'd choose. Probably best idea to charge using the provided charger if you can. If you cannot, try to find one with as close the ratings to original (if available, you can look at the specs usually underneath it) as possible. Deathwish (143)

Last time I wanted any from DSE the sales drone was telling me that they'd never had them until he was shown where they were behind him. DSE now seem to have the Varta equivalent batteries that have more distinctive packaging. Maybe if they can find those the demand will pick up.

Sanyo say any decent NiMh charger is OK preferably one that detects full charge.

I have the DSE charger so will stick with their new 2,7's.
