| 659990 | 2008-04-18 05:23:00 | Well, not all of Christchurch but around 15000 people around Riccarton/Spreydon are without any Telstra Services (TV etc). Someone took out a phone pole with a car. I've had to dig out an old dial-up account, I'm sitting in the hallway of our flat in a rather awkward position next to the phone jack - I feel so retro. It'll be midnight before services are restored according to Telstra. That's quite a long time for that many to be without Internet. So if your expecting an email from Christchurch today don't hold your breath :rolleyes: |
