660344 2008-10-25 07:36:00 Yeah, I'm using Filezilla now, For some reason I didn't like it last time I tried it.

Seems to be pretty damn fine.

I'm the same. When I had to pay for smartftp, that drove me back to Filezilla.
Which I now appreciate a lot more.

How about Wordpress, for blogging.

660347 2008-11-25 06:18:00 Here's a cool one I just "Stumbled" upon.

Instant Eyedropper - a 415kb executable for sampling colours directly from your desktop. This allows you to suck up the RGB or Hex values to your clipboard from an image, without having to capture it into an image editing program first!! Brilliant (http://instant-eyedropper.com/)!

660348 2008-12-22 22:29:00 was surprised noone mentioned Trillian

it supports all chat services.. aim,icq,yahoo,msm,jabber,irc..

it is great when all your kids insist they know which is the best one and they all end up using different services..i hate having heaps of applications running so am happy to communicate with them all thru this single app

660352 2009-02-25 21:11:00 I'm surprised nobody has touched the P2P category, so I'm gonna add:

uTorrent

It's not the app thats the problem, it's what some people use it for that is a source of debate.
