661609 2008-04-23 22:35:00 Magnets, bulldozer and fire to finish it off

That might work well on a floppy disk or even hard drive, but CDs are unaffected by magnets.

Just as all those incredibly expensive "CD Demagnetisers to make your CD sound better" they sell to idiot audiophiles are a complete scam

661610 2008-04-23 22:49:00 *sigh* All of the suggestions make the data still too possible to retrieve The only SERIOUS method to completely erase all record of your girlfriend's nudie pics is to buy or hire a magelatron device and use it to utterly dispose of all the particles that would be left behind by all other previously suggested methods.

A magelatron machine works by inserting said disk into its slot. It then causes all knowledge of it's existance to be permanently erased from human, animal, insect and all sub species awareness. Thus by creating this memory hole no-one will ever know that it existed, and neither time nor space will ever recover it.

Oh, and it also comes with an invisible warranty card. Get one here!
