What I was actually referring to as the fist line in post 7 was some forums ( not here), some people are jumping up and down making all sorts of comments like "About time","its the best thing since sliced bread", when all said and done its not a huge Release, Most of the fixes are already in peoples PC's any way Via the windows updates and to quote from the linked site above Does SP3 improve system performance? If it does, Microsoft isn’t letting on. As mentioned - I have the pre RTM on two XP computers - no difference in performance at all. |
