660647 2008-04-21 12:32:00 Yea and the other crazy thing is that it appears that all the retailers selling the STBs, except DSE, are not even supplying them with an HDMI cable!
They are then trying to upsell customers on the $150-$400 dollar HDMI cables saying that they need them to get the HD video :mad: when a $20 one will do the same job!
And maybe under the CGA they should be supplying the HDMI cable as without it you can't actually get HD video.

If they won't do 720p or 1080i over component, the only other option is using the Zinwell with "hacked" unsupported firmware (with quirks) see dtvforum for more info in the Zinwell thread.
