| 799481 | 2009-08-09 04:24:00 | Try this - may work - from your original Link as to What you did - in the box that says printer and File sharing UNTICK it. Reboot the PC. Create a new folder ( or use existing one) right click it, sharing, share the folder, also make sure you tick - allow users to change files- hopefully you will get a message about sharing - simply click enable file sharing.( if not - carry on) reboot again - try the sharing it should hopefully now allow sharing without passwords |
