660373 2009-11-01 08:15:00 Just found this (ninite.com) c PCworld.com. By the looks of it, you can tick whatever program that's listed (which look like the latest versions), then click on get installer. And it'll download the lot, in one install. Download the one file, then run it. It'll install all of them, one after the other

that looks mighty impressive speedy

660374 2009-11-01 08:16:00 Yer looks good, saves you installing them separately ! Some are a few days old (ccleaner, cdburnerxp, java's more recent, and vlc is or will be 1.03 soon) Speedy Gonzales (78)
660375 2009-11-01 08:19:00 have you tried it yet?

update checker is a similar but tells you what is out of date, still good though

I tried this it wanted to install the same version of programs that I already had so canceled it in the end as a bit of a waste although it is customizable so might be good for a new install

660381 2009-11-04 20:52:00 Well there's no point installing whatever program (if its the same version), as what's already installed  It does show the version on the site Speedy Gonzales (78)
660382 2009-11-05 21:45:00 Print What You Like
http://www.printwhatyoulike.com/

This free service allows you to print a web page with pics and other junk removed. Brilliant. I have been looking for something like this for years. Although it is not actually software, it is free and does the job.

Just enter the URL and usually the auto format "Do it for me" works perfectly.

Often I just want to print text, and not have adverts, small font, or wide margins. Print What You Like solves all these issues, and more.

There is a demo video but the tools are easy to understand.
