| 661912 | 2008-04-23 21:52:00 | What do you guys use?? I just want a light-weight, simple app for a client's PC. Is PowerDVD still the business?? I've just removed Nero for him because it was so bloaty. Thanks in advance!! :thumbs: |

If you can get hold of an older version ~v5 or 6, they will play DVDs just fine. WinDVD (apps.corel.com) is the other major alternative, but likewise if you can get an older version it will probably be lighter & play DVDs just fine. Things like Media Player Classic will play the VOBs no problems, but I dont think it handles the menus too well. |

| 661919 | 2008-04-24 00:48:00 | VLC is still my favourite. It's free and very light. | Deathwish (143) | ||

| 661921 | 2008-04-24 07:54:00 | I try a DVD in MPC first and if the menus aren't working well I jump over to VLC where there's never any problems. A vote each for those from me. | sal (67) | ||
