661318 2008-04-22 11:34:00 I enjoy playing online snooker, 8 ball and 9 ball at a site call GrandBilliards.com.
Graphics there are fantastic, even with an older pc and you can play with people from all over the world in real time.
I don't mean to promote this site above any other but would love to see New Zealand represented there by a few more keen players.
Nothing to buy, just a small download and sign up with a username and you're in.
Play for free or if you wish there is a play 4 money section.
If you enjoy pool games then this is the place for all ages.
Give it a try and I will see you there:)

661319 2008-04-22 13:25:00 I was mildly interested, just up until the moment you mentioned the word "money".

Admit it... you're good at the game and just trying to pull people in to rip them.

661321 2008-04-22 20:31:00 Greg,
Thanks for making my thread sound like a rip off!
Would you prefer if I didn't mention that the site offers real money options as well as the normal "Free" mode? (Honesty is a crime in your eyes?)

I have never been to the real money tables and would get my bum kicked if I did but there might be some here that enjoy more serious play.

Just take my thread as it was meant in a friendly way to try and get more of my own countrymen/women into this online Snooker/Pool community.
As I said above, It's free and it's fun:)

Give it a go mate;)

661322 2008-04-23 08:38:00 I play real pool/snooker. Much more fun. legod (4626)
661323 2008-04-23 08:58:00 Yeah so did I for a lot of years mate:)

Unfortunately not everyone is immune to getting a bit older and the great graphics on this snooker site make it a very close substitute.
Plus you don't have to leave home to play.

661324 2008-04-23 09:43:00 Who cares about straightening out the virtual back, but the real one sometimes creaks a bit. And pool should be played from the privacy of your own home. Virtually always. R2x1 (4628)
