| 799987 | 2009-08-10 10:04:00 | Evening All, In an XP mag from Australia, one of the 'experts' said to download Drivermax to see if one has the latest drivers. Out of curiosity I did that, and was told quite a few drivers were out of date. This seemed odd as it said my Nvidia ones were out, and I had just downloaded the latest ones off the August PCW DVD. Is this correct, and should one worry about updating drivers if everything is running ok ? I have Windows updates turned on and keep my system clean with AVG, spybot, adaware and ccleaner. Please excuse my ignorance in this matter, one can always learn something new. |
