| 799666 | 2009-08-09 05:54:00 | I am trying to get my Compact Wireless-G Internet Video Camera working. I have a D-Link DSL-502T ADSL router which is my gateway. Connected to that I have a D-Link DI-524 Air-Plus G wireless router which is connected directly [via cat-5], to my pC. I have a free account with DYN-DNS which re-directs automatically to my main gateway router. Whislt I can get access to the Internet, and locally I can connect to the camera, I have tried everything in veign to access the WebCam over the WAN. I setup ports through the Virtual Server, and tried completely switching off firewalls and creating the wireless router as a DMZ, still not luck. Does anyone have a step by step guide as to how I can achieve this as I have spent too many hours on this trying to figure it out myself. I am no network wizard, and I must admit there are some entries in the router config which I do not understand. There must be a simple solution to this for someone in the know ! Thanks in advance for you help ! Loz :badpc: I tried port forwarding and setting up Virtual servers, but to no avail |

| 799667 | 2009-08-09 06:16:00 | How have you got the 502t connected to the 524? Are you using the WAN port? If so then you will need to put the 524's WAN IP in the DMZ setting on the 502t and then do your port forwarding to the wireless camera on the 524. |

The 524 router has 5 available ports, one of which is used to connect to the computer. For setup, the wireless cam can be connected as well, but on disconnect obviously connects via the wireless router. | loztom (15158) | ||
