| 662544 | 2008-04-25 15:41:00 | Comments by Steve Ballmer at a press conference in Europe on Thursday has led to speculation that Microsoft is reconsidering its 30 June deadline to stop selling most new Windows XP licenses. However, a Microsoft PR spokeswoman has said there is no change to the current plan. Driven by his Ouija board and gypsy sooth-sayer, Mr. Ballmer is suddenly dumb and quiet on his non-transcripted comments. (www.techworld.com) Perhaps his golden parachute has some holes in it. This to me is ridiculous, Vista has hardly been a success and people are hanging on to XP and are confused and now they going to bring out a new OS soon. I dont fancy their chances fo getting it right this qwuickjly. |

I agree . . . . it's like they are trying to stick a square peg into a round hole . . . it can be done, but they are more likely to put out an eye . M$ has lost whatever spin control it might have had and PR with their latest and continuing fiascoes . Too big; too stupid and too much attitude for it's own pants . . . we are seeing that the digital king is naked . Gads, I wish I could get something in L to work for me and I'd never look back . |
