Apparently it is so busy you have to que to get in. Its open 24/7. It is their 5th Avenue Store.

They currently have this one planned for the Meat packing district of Manhattan

and another one in the works to be situated opposite the Wall St Stock Exchange in Lower Manhattan.

663325 2008-04-30 08:59:00 I wonder whether any other job has the same cr*p - in fact, I disagree with you totally, show me any other job where somebody else can physically assault you and not be fired but get a "talking to" - plus where your day does not end when you exit your workplace, but have to mark/prepare/whatever for another 3-4 hrs .

Hey Sarel . . . I don't understand what you mean about the physically assaulting thing . But it's normal in most employment situations to put in a bit more than the 40 hours you're paid for .

Also, remember the several extra weeks of holiday time that teachers get . For me that's an enormous plus .

And as I said . . . the salary paid to teachers isn't bad . My brother's ex was on 46K a few years ago; probably more now - I'd say that's a decent liveable income .

I heard a guy on talkback a couple of days ago on $1000 per week gross. Tax was around $300 and his mortgage was $610. If correct then that gives him $90 or so left over.

I would not want to be a teacher due to the fact that corporal punishment has left the schools. There is no discipline and parents leave the schools and the government to be in loco parentis.
