If you want that many kids, you're going to need to ration your whole life and evaluate whether you can provide for those children adequately. Unfortunately so many simply have some bang without a care and find themselves with a baby 9 months later....and that happens more than 5 times in some women's lives. |

Surely people with low incomes must associate financial hardship with the number of mouths they have to feed? I dare say most of us would be skint if we had to feed & clothe ourselves, our partners and 5 kiddies too? I dont think she was feeding them, we are! |

These people think they have a "right" to be kept at our expense, where does that idea come from? STOP THE BREEDING if you cant do the FEEDING! How can one be more sensible than that . ? |

They breed and breed and breed without any thoughts on whether they'd be able to adequately feed the children by themselves or have the mental capacity to handle so many young children at once. Fortunately for them the government provides beneficiary packages which are solely meant to feed, but unfortunately for the taxpayers many of these beneficiaries also spend this free money on detrimental luxuries such as cigarettes and alcohol. The promiscuous relationships people have also mean affected mothers of many children depend mostly or entirely on benefits. In NZ a decent education can be given for free until a child is 16 years old. And with the beneficiary system, most children are able to survive until they can take care of themselves (or take from taxpayers). The word poverty shouldn't really be in NZ. Because with the right measures, poverty cannot exist in NZ. Compare the above with other countries with GENUINE poverty, say, Africa. Most occupied lands are so infertile. The weather is hardly favourable for crops to grow. No matter how hard a hundred people work, most of them will die from starvation. Clean drinking water is a scarce yet vital resource. Education is desperately lacking (seriously, sex with a virgin to cure aids???). Now THAT'S poverty. You don't see such Africans smoking ciggies and complain how they have it hard. |

Poor decision makers - poor providers - and the poor buggers that went with her. We are the poor ones paying taxes for her to stay home all day. That is why the Labour government brought in WORKING for families not Working for BLUDGERS. Once a woman has a child on the dpb she should be sterilised so we do not have to support her for the rest of her miserable life. And the guys who impregnated her should be made to pay her dpb. |

Thats not what I was saying, Im saying there is poverty here. Thats all. |
