662202 2008-04-24 10:34:00 I'm prepared to give the kid a chance. Metla (12)
662203 2008-04-24 10:38:00 I'm not.

I hope he proves me wrong.

662204 2008-04-24 10:41:00 I predict a life bouncing in and out of jail, his experiences so far have most likely munted him.

Still, He's a kid, or was.

662205 2008-04-24 10:46:00 Yea, that's my thoughts also. Being a murderer is a pretty hard act to clean up. rob_on_guitar (4196)
662206 2008-04-24 11:03:00 We'll see if the justice system will fail us once again, or that this kid has really turned around. qazwsxokmijn (102)
662207 2008-04-24 11:18:00 Hmm, dunno my position on this. He was only 12 when he done that which could mean : he simply didn't know what he was doing/getting into OR he is a blood lusting maniac that should not be out and about anytime before my great grandchildren expire.

Anyways, I suppose him being out is better than him being in, and my tax $$$ going to waste on him, but then again, who will give an ex-murderer a job? .: it's same thing in that case.

He is on his way out anyway, so best we can hope for is that the guy hasn't got too screwed up and can recover (i see he is getting psychological treatment) sucessfully and make his life 'normal' again. I just don't like this part
"has recently been psychologically assessed as being at very high risk of general and violent re-offending".

People do deserve second chances, and this guy has certainly served his sentence (almost anyway), pretty much his teenage years gone.

662208 2008-04-24 11:25:00 That kinda happens when you murder someone. Even at 12 you must have some kind of alarm in your head that tells you murder is wrong. rob_on_guitar (4196)
662209 2008-04-24 11:25:00 Hmm, . . .

People do deserve second chances, and . . .

Ok . the second is up . Now start doing unto that other . . .

BTW, he, his father, and his grandfather, should be aware that the day of the double brick draweth nigh .

662210 2008-04-24 11:28:00 Second chances? Not for some people clearly. qazwsxokmijn (102)
