800185 2009-08-11 09:25:00 I'm running a Radeon HD 3870 on my Compaq Presario SR5390AN running Vista Home Premuim Version 6.0.6002, service pack 2. Every time I start my computer I get a warning box from ATI saying: The Catalyst Control Centre is not supported by the driver version of your enabled graphics adapter. Please update your ATI graphics driver, or enable your ATI adapter using the displays manager."
I have upgraded the ATI graphics drivers several times and am curently running Catalst Version 09.5, but the warning message just keeps showing up no matter what version I upgrade to. The Catalyst Control Centre does work (most of the time, occasionally it freezes up) but I'd just like to get rid of the warning message each time I boot up. Any ideas?:illogical

800186 2009-08-11 09:48:00 Uninstall all versions of the ATI drivers, then install 9.7 (game.amd.com) if youre using 32 bit. Or 64 bit if youre using 64 bit (game.amd.com) Speedy Gonzales (78)
800187 2009-08-11 10:22:00 Thanks, but it didn't work. Still get the warning message! lobo1 (15164)
800188 2009-08-11 11:37:00 Dont know then, either ask on the AMD/ATI forum, or go through Google (www.google.co.nz ted+by+the+driver+version+of+your+enabled+graphics +adapter&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a). Are you sure youre downloading the driver with CCC included?? Not just the driver install? Is net framework installed? It must be installed for CCC to work properly Speedy Gonzales (78)
800189 2009-08-11 16:30:00 Install the driver but deselect the catalyst control centre portion.

Install ATi tools, this will give you better functionality and control over your card, not to mention it is way less (if at all) a resource hog like CCC is.

Cheers,
