| 664612 | 2008-05-01 20:33:00 | I've got two in my TV Server running on MediaPortal. Works great  This MediaPortal, does it come bundled with the card, or is it a programme that needs to be purchased separately? I see the card comes with a CD, but is there anything on the CD to run the card or is the CD just Drivers & Manual etc? As you can see this is going to be a challenge for me. :D |

I think it has a program called WinTV which is a basic program to allow you to use the Nova-S card. |

| 664615 | 2008-05-01 23:44:00 | B.M. there are a few threads on MediaPortal's forum specific to New Zealand and a very helpful bunch of people on there. The software that Hauppauge supply to some cards PowerCinema does work in NZ now but it takes a few patches and tweaks to make it work. Hauppage.co.uk forum for that one. Also a few threads relating to NZ on geekzone.co.nz forums |

| 664616 | 2008-05-08 01:10:00 | I wound up buying a Hauppauge HVR 3000 in the end and whilst it and WinTV seemed to install correctly I cant find any channels . I bought a new aerial and set it in the right direction, fine tuned it with one of Dick Smiths Satellite finders, but when I set it to scan, nothing . The LNB is a Hills LO 11 . 30Gh . I have set WinTV to 1600 Optus D1 (160 . 0E) I have downloaded a patch SatelliteFix . exe for NZ . (From Hauppauge) Still nothing found on Scan . However, looking under advanced at the LNB settings I note the low Osc is set to 9750000KHz the High Osc is set to 10600000KHz and the LNB Switch to 11700000KHz . The DiSEqC Support is set to Simple . None of this makes any sense to me so Im wondering if anybody can confirm the settings are correct or have any idea what the problem is . :thanks in advance |

If you have an 11 . 30 LNB then set your High and low to 11300000 and switch should be 0 . |
