801173 2009-08-15 01:15:00 You sure you have the correct mobo model?, cant find it on Asus website. feersumendjinn (64)
801174 2009-08-15 01:15:00 I think youve got the wrong driver, that mobo isnt listed on the ASUS site. Its probably been removed from the site (since it looks like it did exist). So, dont know how you got those drivers. Only mobo / drivers I could find are the MX drivers, which are here (www.asus.com) They may work if the Audio is Realtek ALC655 AC'97 Speedy Gonzales (78)
801175 2009-08-15 01:29:00 Here's the ftp site for it (ftp://ftp.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/sock478/p4s8x/). But thats only got the BIOS updates and manuals by the looks of it. If it uses a realtek based soundcard, you may have to search the realtek site for it Speedy Gonzales (78)
801176 2009-08-15 01:30:00 Yeah, is it either a P4S8X, P4S8X-MX or P4S8X-X?

The driver Speedy posted should work.

This (dlsvr04.asus.com) is the same one - Direct link. :) Just checked it and it downloaded for me at over 140kb/sec, which is good some of the older Asus drivers took an age to download, and sometimes timed out.

That all looks kosher to me - run the setup.exe file after you've unzipped it.
