| 801042 | 2009-08-14 10:47:00 | I usually get 13-15mbps for my broadband and suddenly in the last few days it has dropped to around 5mbps. Router says that download speed is 15406kbps? My fault of telecoms? We are not on the Big Time plan so I "hope" they are not throttling us or anything. Any ideas to get back to normal? | xyz823 (13649) | ||

| 801047 | 2009-08-14 11:40:00 | It could just be network congestion further upstream in Telecom's network. If your modem/router is connecting at 15406kbps, then rebooting it shouldn't make much of a difference. Give it a few more days, and if it's still slow, ring Telecom and ask them what's going on. There may be known technical problems somewhere in their network. |
