I don't recall these guys protesting in Iraq when Sadam was running the country either, seems you only protest in a free country and forget how you got to be free in the first place. If it was 1939 these guys would be protesting against evil Winston Churchill going to war against peace loving Adolf.Excellent perspective mate! | Greg (193) | ||
| 664101 | 2008-04-30 10:15:00 | But what about the so-called security? Apparently it took the protesters 30 minutes to cut through all the barbed-wire fences and it wasn't until they got through that the security people turned up!! Someone should have their back-sides kicked! If I was one of the protesters, I would argue in court that the lack of response was indication of the LOW priority placed on the site by the government. |

They also cut through fences and caused other damage, which they estate to be up to a million. It is amazing how expensive it is, although our cost of building in NZ is very high compared to Oz. |

Well I loved the quote on the news done to justify what they did saying they were acting against atrocities - so we're meant to turn off the listening equipment so that we don't know when the next bomb is coming. That really makes sense. |

And they cut through an orchardists fence, they could've climbed over. What a bunch of drama queens:eek: |

| 664106 | 2008-04-30 23:00:00 | Great work by the protest group. Why should NZ help warmongering countries with their illegal wars? You mean that there is such a thing as a legal war?:illogical |

History is written by the victors - except when they forget to wipe out the bleeding-heart liberal greenies. Then, unfortunately, they get to write a couple of paragraphs... |
