801028 2009-08-14 22:08:00 Find the user accounts, go into their properties, under Dial-In, tick "Allow Acces" to VPN, and see if that helps :)

EDIT: Turns out I have a SBS2008 box handy to RDP into, screenshot time!
Attached file: dial-in.PNG (www.imagef1.net.nz) (35 KB)Access is all set up correctly already. I can VPN in locally (via LAN) no problem, but if I try to VPN in via the internet it doesn't work. Using the same account and same VPN connection (just changing the connection IP).

Anyone on Slingshot got a VPN server running? I wonder if Slingshot are blocking me from running a VPN? My ports are open, the VPN is running properly (internally at least), I just can't get an external connection to see the VPN. The server log doesn't even report any connection attempts, so it seems to be being stopped before it even reaches the server.

This is driving me mental! :)

Could I be running into issues because I'm trying to connect through the internet from a computer on my LAN to another on my LAN?
