Tell ya what I sure aint walkign 100km tomorrow to fix two pc's........ and I know plenty of people, my wife included, who wont be walkign multiple Km's to work.....what an idiot....... |

That would take some beating... Was that regarding the similarities between the failed Airport deal and the Fontera buy out of that South American Dairy giant, the one where Cullen was labeled as a HYPOCRITE? |

| 663909 | 2008-04-29 08:45:00 | That's the kind of attitude a useless jackass of a politician (as most if not all are) will have after doing jack**** compared to what little they actually do but getting a nice big pay and bonuses (seriously, business class for airplane rides? BMWs?) for doing so little. Someone shoot that guy. Or at least put him on 30 grand a year. Same goes to every other leeching politicians. |

| 663911 | 2008-04-29 08:50:00 | And I haven't met any of these people he talks about (the majority of the pop.) who's incomes are outstripping inflation. Probably the few successful innovators that exist in this country - the ones that Labour hasn't chased out. |

Well he did sell trademe with his son, and made millions and millions of dollars, so he is a NZ success story. A lot of what he said about people borrowing too much and not planning ahead, I agree with. It has caused problems with home affordability, pushing up prices to unsustainable levels, just because it was possibile to borrow that much money. I think some of his comments were a bit raw, especially whilst he was wearing his NZ designed, chinese made icebreaker top. I wonder what people opinions are, who have their kiwisaver accounts with him. |

I think this country needs more people like Gareth to give it a kick in the ass and get it going again. They also need to be "encouraged" to stay here after they have become successful so that their success can attract more like minded people back to NZ to create other opportunities. |
