801279 2009-08-15 05:06:00 Hi All,
When I right click on any file and choose - Send To - Mail Recipient.
My Default Windows Mail does not open up. and am unable to send.
In tools options general - both make default boxes are grayed out.
Any ideas?

801282 2009-08-15 05:31:00 Did you set it as the default client to see if that'd work? Speedy Gonzales (78)
801283 2009-08-15 06:16:00 Where do I check to set it as Default Client?

801286 2009-08-15 07:17:00 have a look at These instructions (www.freeemailtutorials.com) - ( about half way down the page) tells you how to set default mail along with other programs

Edited: I think you created a bit of confusion - Outlook Express is with XP and Windows Mail is Vista - this thread title says Outlook Express.

Maybe should have read Windows Mail Default ;)

801287 2009-08-15 08:10:00 It is very difficult when users want help and those that may give the help have no idea what O/s or mail client is being used.

I want to save my mail and/or contacts in Outlook. Whoops I meant Outlook express or win mail or whatever.

Then to give help you need to either ask questions or trundle back through previous posts. Then you may find that it's my mates' computer which has the problem and you have no idea what the mate is using.
