800983 2009-08-14 05:21:00 Sorry if this is a silly question, but is there any way to get XP's WLAN manager to accept WPA2 AES?

Thanks Blam/Speedy - when I try to install this, I get the following:

---------------------------
KB893357 Setup Error
---------------------------
Setup has detected that the Service Pack version of this system
is newer than the update you are applying.

There is no need to install this update.

I've already installed SP3 so I'm guessing this update was part of SP2 or 3, but I can still only get WEP as my choice of Data encryption?

800987 2009-08-16 02:42:00 The wireless adapters youre using, what do they support? If they support WEP only, windows probably wont give you any other option

It'd probably be better, if you install / use the drivers / program the adapters came with, they've got more options than windows
