| 666464 | 2008-05-06 07:46:00 | Why? Ken |

| 666465 | 2008-05-06 07:47:00 | Why what? Because it is better than Telecom doing it. Vodafone Australia will be releasing it there first I think although from what I have read the iPhone will also be available through Optus so Telecom might get in on the act here.. |

| 666466 | 2008-05-06 07:48:00 | Why would they want to sell that? Ken |

| 666467 | 2008-05-06 07:49:00 | Bet it's locked and will most likely sell for around $1200.. | paulw (1826) | ||
| 666468 | 2008-05-06 07:58:00 | Bet it's locked and will most likely sell for around $1200.. From what I have been reading, Apple will be selling the next 24 million iPhones unlocked since more than a third of people who by them unlock them anyway. I have a feeling that the price will also be considerably cheaper than the mark 1 version and there will be a lot more apps and widgets that you can put on it without having to jail break it first since the developers have been hard at work on the SDK since it was released earlier in the year. |

Ooooops... are you admitting that they made a imarketing error? Shame on you. In the past, under this and another name you have waffled on in great detail, with many obscure reference links about how smart Steve is. Which Steve did you mean? Ballmer maybe? Ken |

Ken Apple did actually admit that the European market is a totally different kettle of fish to the US market when it comes to selling smart phones, so now it is onwards and upwards after a bit of adjustment. The European market is actually considerably ahead of the US market in terms of what European customers are used to. |
