| 802283 | 2009-08-18 21:44:00 | Hi all, So I'm helping a friend who was previously dual-booting 32-bit XP with 64-bit Vista. Most of his stuff was done in 32-bit XP, but he's in to Flight Sim and isn't getting the most outta his hardware, so we thought we'd trial him out for a month on Win7. So far so good, except he's got one application that doesn't want to run. It's called QuickVerse, and when he fires it up, it complains that it wasn't designed to run in 64-bit Windows, only 32-bit... I'm unsure if it's the app thats complaining here or Windows, but if anybody has a way we can "fool" it into thinking its running in 32-bit Windows, that'd be super :D We've tried compatibility mode with settings to XP, 2K, 98, whatever ... none of that works :-/ Any ideas appreciated Cheers Chill. |

Even if you are logged on as administrator some programs do not recognise this and have to be told again. Stick with 64 bit. Overall it's much faster than 32 and performs much better. And I'm using 12 gigs of ram instead of 3. Jack |
